International Maarif Programme For Kindergarten

International Maarif Programme Kindergarten

Our curriculum is designed to reflect and nurture the full needs of children at this critical stage of their lives. It aims to develop and support the child in accordance with the universally accepted domains of development and learning.

In the curriculum, learning domains are Mathematics, Science and Technology, Art, Social Sciences, Language, Early Literacy, Communication, Play and Movement. In addition to development and learning, play is considered and supported to be an important instrument that supports culture acquisition and expression. For our little earners, all activities are planned based on play.

Our Aims:
  • To ensure that children grow up to become virtuous people.
  • To support children’s holistic development by providing environments that meet their basic needs.
  • To increase children’s sensitivity about their native language and other languages.
  • To make it possible for children to attain a multicultural perspective by increasing their awareness of different cultures.
  • To ensure that children are prepared for the next level of education.

We track our student’s development and assess them by modules, and we give progress reports for each module. We organise regular educational trips throughout the year to support and enrich our curriculum.

Family involvement is another major component of our school. Since it is so important, family involvement is encouraged through a wide range of activities. We publish a Maarif Kindergarten Newsletter every 2 months, which is an insight into our wonderful world behind the walls of our kindergarten. You can read the newsletter here.

In-class Learning CentersMaarif Preschool Education Institutions have learning centers where activities are held to help realize the outcomes and indicators set forth in the preschool pro-gram.

These centers, stocked with materials suitable for children, make it possible for teachers to observe and evaluate children’s preferences for play. One of the fundamental responsibilities of teachers is to provide opportunities for students to have stimulating, inclusive and supportive experiences in all areas of development and learning.
