International Maarif School of Bucharest is part of a broad network which spans the world and operates in 52 countries. Our International Section is accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education and IMSB (Maarif International School of Bucharest High School) is included in the Special Register of ARACIP as an institution which offers the curriculum for Great Britain and Northern Ireland for all stages of education, as a Cambridge International School.
The national section, offering the Romanian National Curriculum, has been authorized starting with 2020 by the Romanian Ministry of Education to provide educational services from kindergarten to high-school level.
Starting with the academic year 2023-2024, IMSB also implements the International Maarif Programme Curriculum for preschool education which was approved and accredited by the Romanian Ministry of Education and the Romanian Quality Assurance Agency in Pre-University Education (ARACIP) in January 2023.
Following the registration in the Special Register for the Institutions Offering the Curriculum Specific to Other Countries, the IMSB students who graduate after having studied subjects specific to the Cambridge International Curriculum or the International Maarif Curriculum, have their studies and diplomas equivalated by the Romanian Ministry of Education through the CNRED office.
